Psychology 2A and Psychology 2B are the core courses for second year students studying on any psychology-related degree in the Department of Psychology. These are also popular outside courses for students from various other degrees and among visiting students.

Psychology 2A and Psychology 2B also follow on from the first year courses, Psychology 1A and Psychology 1B. These courses cover the psychology of memory, cognitive neuroscience, the psychology of language and the psychology of perception, and covers further key historical, theoretical and methodological issues.
