Activity Week 2B

In the middle of the semester, there will be an Activity Week, where typical lectures will be replaced by more interactive learning opportunities.

For Semester 2 Activity Week the psychology department will host an event aimed at introducing psychology to school children. We expect between 100-150 p7 pupils (10-11year olds) to attend between Tuesday the 20th and Thursday 22nd of February. The main focus of the event will be perceptual illusions. You will have the opportunity to present and explain how certain illusions work to the children (useful practice for your 2b assessment). If you wish to volunteer for the event you must attend the training session on Monday the 19th of February or an earlier Sci Fun training event (to be confirmed). Sign-up slots will be available in January.

The Activity Week is coordinated by Dr Chris Egan.
