Tutorials 1A

Psychology 1A tutorials focus on an article that is related to the current block of lectures, and provide a chance to discuss the article with the tutor and your peers in a small group setting. There are four tutorials in total, one per fortnight. Psychology 1A tutorials this semester will be live online sessions. Details on how to join are available on Learn.

To gain marks for tutorial participation you MUST read the allocated article for the tutorial, and answer the questions in the tutorial workbook. This preparation before the tutorial will equip you to participate in the tutorial discussion.

Note: This part of your assessment depends upon preparation and participation. If you are going to be absent from a tutorial without good reason, or if you do not participate in the tutorial, this may lead to a deduction of points from your overall mark. If you think/know you will miss a tutorial for any reason, you must contact the Course Secretary (psyinfo@ed.ac.uk) in the PPLS Undergraduate Teaching Office as soon as possible to explain the reason.
